Today we had a few board hearings in Los Angeles. First up was to accept stipulations on a few vacant parcels in Pacific Palisades with views of the ocean. Assessed originally at $600,000 for the three parcels, we were able to reduce them to $207,000 saving the property owner over $4,000. Today we were able to work out a reduction on a 20 unit apartment complex in San Diego County. The subject property was initially assessed at $1,976,298 and through our application for changed assessment we were able to prove to the County that the assessed value should actually be $1,300,000. The initial assessment was equivalent to $98,814 per unit and our reduction brought it down to $65,000...
