Fresno County Agricultural

Today we were able to work out a property tax reduction on a 17 acre agricultural property in rural Fresno County. This property is being operated as a pig farm and has a residence and several buildings designed for the commercial raising of pigs. It was our opinion that the property owner may have overpaid for the property when it was purchased several years ago. After completing some research and consulting with the Fresno County Assessor, the county appraiser agreed to consider our data as well as make a personal inspection of the property. After completing the inspection and market analysis the County agreed to correct the 2010/2011 enrolled value of $1,281,848 to $775,000. This is a reduction in the market value of almost $507,000, saving our client about $5,600.00 in property taxes!
